Silver City Blues Masters Swim Team delivered a powerful and inspiring week of racing at the European Aquatics Masters Long Course Championships 2026 in Samorin, Slovakia, showcasing depth, determination and exceptional Masters talent across all age groups. The team produced championship records, podium finishes and a long list of strong individual swims that underlined SCBβs reputation as one of the UKβs leading Masters clubs.

π€ Team Bonding on the Danube
Away from the pool, the squad made the most of their time in Slovakia with a memorable group boat trip down the Danube, taking in the scenery and enjoying a well-earned break from competition intensity. The outing finished with a relaxed team meal in Bratislava, where swimmers shared stories from the week, celebrated their achievements and soaked up the atmosphere of the historic city. The trip proved a perfect balance to the high-energy racing, strengthening team spirit and adding an unforgettable social highlight to the championship experience.
