November 24th saw 33 swimmers and 2 coaches at the final meet of the year at Prestonpans. Not known for being the fastest pool we had a great day with swimmers either swimming to their PB or making a new one and in addition we also broke some meet records. Our Team Manager Emma managed to get 32 of the swimmers into relay teams which along with so many great swims allowed us to yet again swim to victory!

We won 10 age group trophies: Laura Robertson, Rachel Keir, Erica Jones, Chris Ferguson, Stuart Mcpherson, Dianne Fraser, Audrey Cooper, Bill Reid, Day Campbell and Betty McMillan. In addition we also won best team being 270 points ahead of Swim West Lothian.

So we finish the year as Scottish National Champions, top team at Inverclyde and Prestonpans, British SC 120–159 mixed freestyle relay winners, 3 golds at the Scottish 1500  as well as breaking so many records along the way that they have almost become too many to count!

Our swimmers across all ages whether they have been in the sport for 6 months or 60 years have all worked so hard to improve their own skill base and this has been shown in every swim this year.

So what will 2013 bring??? Watch this space for some new challenges that as always will be full of fun:)
