The open water season started on the 1st June with the first event at Lochore Meadows Country Park in Fife. Silver City Blues were represented by Kelly McIntosh, Gillian Main, Will Moir and Brian Bain who all took part in the 2 km race.  Kelly and Gillian took the first two places in the women’s masters event which has adjusted times based on age. Brian won the men’s masters event with Will in fifth place.

The next event is at Monikie Country Park on the 15th June.  After that is the North District Championships at Loch Morlich where we hope to have a big representation.  The club has a mailing list for members who are interested in open water swimming.  If you aren’t already on it and would like to be then contact Brian.
